I am trying to remain positive about this catastrophic ecological event, but I continue to cry. I do not wish for this blog to become a negative outlet. But I do truly and firmly believe that the DeepWater Horizon Gulf of Mexico oil spill must have our attention and we must pour our hearts, our positive energy and our Spirits into it. Because we must find a deeper meaning to what we call our World, our Home and our Future.
We are all connected. The Earth is far more complex than we know. Life is fragile and too precious for games. We must find a better way to treat our environment in a age that is becoming darker. You are the Light that is needed.
Please continue to support our efforts to help the workers and volunteers in the Gulf area with your donations. Here is how to do it.
I am humbled by the efforts of our members. I can not thank you enough for what you have done. You have given so much and did not waste a moment in your response to our request. Each week we are sending Blanks, towels, electric extension cords and heating pads. Palm Coast, Bunnell, Ormond Beach have demonstrated that they are communities that care.

This blog is great. How did you come up with the idea?
I agree with much of what peoples comments are that I am reading here. I just wish there were a magic bullet for this.
Don’t let this horrible thing drag you down, Alton. Something good will come of it – I promise. We just may not ever know what. But the universe will balance – Nature Always Wins.
Thanks Connie, I appreciate your comment. You are right. As hard as it is to believe, something good will come of this.
