- Add pine nuts, garlic, & pepper flakes; cook, stir occasionally, until garlic softens & browns slightly.
- Add lemon juice & salt & steamed carrots & broccoli; cook, stir occasionally, until vegetables are just tender.
- Stir in Parmesan.(Optional)
