Summary: A great fall dish
Ingredients
- 1 lb. organic green beans, trimmed
- 1-1/2 tsp. fresh organic lemon juice
- 2 Tbs. chopped fresh organic flat-leaf Italian parsley
- 1 tsp. organic olive oil
- 2 Tbs. sliced organic almonds, toasted
- 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 organic garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
Instructions
- Toast the almonds, and assemble other ingredients so they are ready when the beans are.
- Steam beans, covered, 6 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and return to pan.
- Add parsley and all remaining ingredients; toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
